Help system lacking in Visual Studio 2005 Beta

This is good feedback, thanks for posting. The "Search in Previous Results" and "Search Titles Only" won't appear in the VS2005 release for the following reasons:

1) The "Search in Previous Results" on term X is the same as adding term X to the original query and re-executing the query. We perceived that it wasn't adding much value and removed it. A few customers have mentioned it, so we evaluate and consider adding a valuable version of the feature in the future.

2) The VS2005 search engine has a new feature to bubble up title matches in results. The "Search Titles Only" became superfluous because title matches are already near the top of a result set.

Sorry if this isn't a very satisfying answer. Let me know your thoughts and we will certainly take this feedback into account as we design Orcas.

Thanks for adding your feedback. I agree with your sentiments. There is a fundamental need to allow users to incrementally converge on the desired document and we hope to nail that scenario. We are tracking this feedback!
