Crystal Report

Hi everyone,

I have just written a "Thank You" letter in crystal report. What I'm having trouble with right now is how to tell Crystal Report to automatically go to another letter after each "sponsor name" is used.

here is my letter,

Dear[Sponsor Name],

Thank you for being a[Sponsor Type] at the AITP Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament. Your contribution will enable our student members to attend both Regional and National AITP Student Conferences in the future.

Thank You,

What I want is the Crystal Report to look at my database and for each "Sponsor" I want it to create a letter with the coresponding information.

How would I do this?

Crystal Reports is simply an additional 3rd party component bundled with certain versions of VB / VS.

From my recollections of using crystal. I think you'll find on the report it is the initial grouping that you need to put in place. Make the initial grouping on the report sponsor - and then put this detail inside this grouping. That way for each different sponsor it will print out the letter.

To get a quicker more positive response.

Try

Crystal Reports Support.

Either way this seems to be off topic for this VB Language forum.

Hope these help.
