timeout error for Query Designer but not for Generic Qeury Designer

When I run one of my datasets in the Designer, a timeout error occurs. However, the exactly same dataset works fine if it is run from the Generic Query Designer. The reports based on the dataset work, so I am not too much worried about this error which is just an annoyance.

Does anyone have any clue?
