update the cube's storage path

Storage location property on the cube object only serves as default for new partitions you will be creating in this cube. There nothing more to it, but serving as a default value. Partitions are the objects that are getting created in locations you specify.

So if you wanted to change location for existing cube, you go through every partition, change it storage location and reprocess. Change storage location for the cube, so new partitions get created there automatically.
