SQL Server 2000 Enterprise manager "Invalid class string"

Windows XPro SP2

MS SQL Server 2000 SP4

Problem: When I open the Enterprise Manager, and try to 'open table->return all rows' I get a messagebox helpfully informing me that "Invalid class string" and no rows are displayed

I tried re-installing the client tools, then de-installing it and re-installing it, then removing SQL Server 2005

No joy. From what I've found on a search, it seems to be something to with DTS, which I'm not using.

Any ideas how to make this go away?

Please file a defect report on http://connect.microsoft.com.

I suspect one of the designer components is corrupt or missing on your machine. Can you design Views in SQL Enterprise Manager? The Open Table designer and View designer are packaged in the same component, so it would be helpful to know that.

Thanks,
Steve
