Links on CD
The URLs in a .thml document on an external media CD/DVD/USB are not blocked by Vista. Eg: when opening a manual in HTML on a CD which contains links to other HTML pages residing on the same CD. Does the HTML file need to contain any special meta tags to communicate to the OS that this should be allowed or request elevation of priveliges?
Also does the IE on vista need an special arguments to be able to open a file from an external media ? Clicking on a .html file on a CD in Vista opens IE but it does not open the file, it opens the homepage.
Any information in this regards is appreciated.
