Performance problem

I have performance problem when working with wwf designer. It is too slow. I have Pentium D with 2 gb of ram memory. Maybe the problem is that I have Graphic card integrated, I don't know is the designer writen in wpf(does it require faster graphic card)?

Thanks,

Our framework is based on WWF,and I met the same problem, it's so excruciating.

Can everyone give a solution?

Also I think MS is in the way of improving the performance of WWF designer, I really want to know the current status.

Thanks!

Please use WF as an abreviation for Windows Workflow Foundation, not WWF. Which build are you using? How many activities do you have in the workflow? How long does it take, second / minutes?

Thanks Tom.

We currently use ".net 3.0 June CTP (dotnetfx304131.06)", and "Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation Beta 2(EN)".

Generally, we have 20~60 (even more in some complex workflows) activities in one workflow, including customized activities.

moreover, we have about 150 ~ 200 workflows in one project and about 60~100

customized activities in other projects.

Upgrading to the latest build, WF RC5, will give you better performance. Link to install RC5 can be found here.
