Vista and Virtual server 2005

Hi all,

I have followed everything and things appear to be installed. However when I bring up the management console for VS I get this error message:

An error occurred accessing the website application data folder.

The virtual machine folders are located in "\\Users\Public\Public Documents\Shared Virtual Machines\, different from the XP or Win 2003 folder but semantically equivelant.

Any Ideas?

Hello Degremont,

After a bit of research this is turning out to be a Virtual Server issue. The VS team is aware of this and will be working on a fix. Sorry no eta at the moment but you might want to watch for updates in Virtual Server 2005 R2.

Thanks,

This trick didnt work for me on Vista x64.. in fact... IE7 opens but it sortof freezes for awhile with a "connecting" tab appearing above the normal tabs..

Is it just not possible to run VServer 2k5 under Vista x64?
