How to extend the tablet pc input panel

deploy tablet PCs as a part of a wireless warehouse and we would like

to add industry specific symbols to the Tablet PC input panel. Each

symbol will map to a series of character to be automatically inserted a

running (web) application text input.

Is there a way to add these symbols to the input panel?

Is there another solution?
