Factory Pattern, please

Hi,

IMHO it would be nice to see DLink using a Factory Pattern, so I it will be possible to load Oracle, Microsoft or other DLink lib from anyone.

I think taking the provider pattern currently used for ASP.NET and extending it to non-web projects would be a good start.

If they could then continue on and bring in the build providers ASP.NET has, that would also be good.

Thanks for the suggestion. We are planning on discussing such a thing in the design meetings. We certainly want people to be able to switch provider under the cover.
