Sign in to your space.

Whilst in edit mode of your space click in the address bar of your browser, do not delete the address but at the end of it add "&powertoy=musicvideo" then press enter or 'go'.

The page will refresh, after it has select "customise" You should fins listed somewhere a Windows Media Player Module. Click to add it to your page, position it then click 'save'.

To select a song enter the URL of a music or video file on the web you wish to play in the URL box of your media player. There are also options for how many times to repeat the file and whether it auto starts when the page loads.

Please Note: Media player only works in Internet Explorer.

Hope this helps.

*sigh* You have to find a url of a music clip you want.

Easiest way to do this is to find the clip you want right click the link and click Copy Shortcut.

Then go into Edit mode, Where it says Song URL, just paste the link that you copied from before.
Save and Exit.
Simple.

Now, don't make me make a video showing you that, or you will be kicking yourself at how easy it is.

Every site I try only has it for places like my space , tagged etc , but no alot for my space live ? and the ones in media player are mostly broken links or again only for certain sites , what I am looking for here is a list of urls I can go to to get things like alternitive or rock songs by acutal performers

Alright, I know of a few places where you can get mp3's from.

www.espew.com
www.altavista.com < Goto the Audio Search section
If anything, even try google.

But, you are going to need to find the links on your own. This is as far as I can help you.

--Edit--

Ok, pretty much what I am trying to say is that you have to refine your search a bit more. For Example, in Google type "Artist - Song Name mp3". Search for the mp3s of songs, nothing more. Eventually, you will find what you want. If you are still stuck there, just ask for more help, I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

eSpew.com is the best MP3 Search Engine out there. You can search, locate, listen, and download all of your favorite music for free, and the search engine has zero advertisement.

The eSpew Music Toolbar integrates into your IE Browser (similar to the Google toolbar). In addition, the eSpew music toolbar allows you to search, locate and listen to all of your favorite music for free, receive music directly to your browser via RSS feeds, dynamic url link buttons, and more. No signups or registration required, no spyware or adware, and 100% free.

In short, eSpew.com is what Google is not. A MP3 Search Engine!

Just to clear something up. You dont have to install the eSpew IE Browser Toolbar to use the MP3 Search Engine. The toolbar is just a nice add-on feature to access music directly via your Internet Explorer Browser.

Personally, I have both the Google & Espew Toolbars installed on my Browser and they both work well. The problem with the Google toolbar is that when I type in NEIL YOUNG to GOOGLE, I get a million sites who gossip about the singer but ZERO music.

The eSpew toolbar not only gives me the music, but also allows me to either listen or download the music for free.

Anyway, the eSpew toolbar can be download for free at Download.com or directly via the official Microsoft Windows Website. Needless to say, its free and has zero spyware, adware, crapware, etc. Basically music is the reason I bought my computer so the toolbar is worth pimping!

HERE IS HOW I BEGAN TO POST MY ORIGINAL MUSIC ONTO SPACES. LIVE.

'OFFICE LIVE BETA' HAS BEEN GRACIOUS ENOUGH TO ALLOW WEB SITE FORMAT USE FOR BUISNESS DOCUMENTS. IN MY CASE MY 'PRODUCTS' OR 'DOCUMENTS' ARE MY SONGS.

SO, IF I WERE YOU I WOULD START THERE. BUILD A WEB SITE WITH OUTSTANDING HELP FROM THE MICROSOFT OFFICE LIVE BETA TEAM. AND IT IS ALL FREE.

THE RESULT IS THAT YOU WILL HAVE YOUR "ORIGINAL"-WRITTEN AND RECORDED BY YOU- MUSIC ON SITE.

IN MY CASE, I AM A COMPUTER MUSICIAN AND ONLY USE THE SITE FOR MY ORIGINAL 'PA COPYRIGHTED' SONGS. NATURALLY A BLUES 'SONG', OR 'DOCUMENT', OR 'PRODUCT' WHAT EVER YOU WANT OT CALL IT SLIPS THROUGH AT TIMES, BUT THIS IS CORRECTABLE.

SO THAT IS MY ADVICE.

FROM THAT POINT YOU WILL HAVE A WAY TO USE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL MUSIC ( NOT SOMEONE ELSE) RECORDED BY YOU AS A CUMPUTER MUSICIAN, ETC. ON YOUR SPACES SITE.

I AM NOT GOING TO EXPLAIN THAT UNLESS ONE OF YOU WANTS A DETAILED METHOD. AND AGAIN THE MICROSOFT TEAMS THAT OPERATE THESE PRODUCTS ARE VERY SHARP AND PRECISE.
