Power Options - After Sleep, battery is not Charged anymore

Hi to all,

I just wanted to ask, if it is Normal, some Bug or something by me is not working propertly :)
It is about Power Options in Windows VISTA RTM:

After I have put my laptop all night on Sleep, my battery has 85% of the capacity in the morning when I wake him up ... the problem is, that my System Tray Power Options icon says in which power plan I am working now, and that I am "Plugged in, not charging". It stays like that, until I disconnect and reconnect my Power Adapter to my Laptop. Then he starts to Charge my Battery again displaying "Plugged in, Charging".

If it is not a bug, I think it is very unlogicaly that I have to reconnect my adapter on every wake up!

Thanks,
Armin

I am having the same issue - Microsoft: If you search the phrase "plugged in, not charging", you will see there is a common issue with Vista. There are currently no publically available kb articles matching that phrase.

Please advise.
