Launch an approved activity
Hi all,
I submitted an activity created by me to gallery.live.com, and even after it got accepted, I have not been able to launch it in my Messenger! When i click the 'Launch in Messenger' link, all i does is that it takes me to a page with ads of MSN games! This is the link to my activity:

Please help me (as the creator of the activity) see what it's turned out to be!

Yes, I have tried Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox (it dosent support the 'msnim' protocol). I see the JavaScript also but even after the page is done loading, it just stays there. It does not interact with the Messenger.
What about you? When you opened that page, did it display anything in your Messenger? If yes, where and what?
Thanks a ton for trying to help me!!!
There's no need to debug javascripts on Microsoft pages, I can assure you that they are correct. Yes the activity opens for me (and works nice btw!).
I guess the activeX object could not be created at your pc, maybe reinstalling Messenger helps? What should happen is:
You go to the page, then a Windows Live Messenger window pops up and says: Choose a contact with who you you want to start the activity, you choose a contact and the conversation window opens with the activity.
Btw, can you open other (older) activity's? Then it might be a cache problem... When you try to start an activity, Messenger connects to a website, checking if there is an activity with that appID, and if there is, it gets the msgrp2p.xml file of that activity. Maybe that page is cached so it still thinks the activity does not exist. Try to clear your browsers cache files....
I have tried it all! Reinstalling Messenger, clearing the browsers (IE) cache. But i still can't get anywhere!

You sound like an Insider! Are you one? or is it just your faith is MS?
Depends on the definition of Insider, but I don't work for MS so I guess it's just my faith

Can you add me to Messenger (see my profile for the address). I might know one thing to make it work, but I'm not sure if MS likes it if I post that here...
