After restting IE7, I can not install Live Toolbar

I had to reset my IE 7 and now I can not install Windows Live Toolbar. I have uninstalled in the Control Panel. I did not uninstall the add-ons. The program seems to install but when I look at VIEW- Toolbars, Windows Live Toolbar is greyed out. Anyone have a suggestion on how to reslove this issue? My next step was to do a REGEDIT and search for Windows Live Toolbar entries. Thanks ahead of time for any valid assistance.

I am having the same problem... Maybe there is some problem with IE7, and not my computer..

I've tried twice to reinstall the toolbar but same thing.. It downloads, looks like it installs, option is greyed out, etc...

Also, when installing, if you choose advanced to pick buttons, you end up getting an error that the page cannot open at this time, and you cannot choose any buttons..

Thanks for the feedback Joey. I agree that when you try to add to toolbar the thing gave me the same error. Again, We may be faced with another Microsoft rush job--unfinished and we work out the bugs for them OR screw our systems up. I have mixed emotions about the up and coming (who know when that will be) Vista version of Windows.

Yeah texan:

I think they are trying to outbeat Google, and they are releasing things that don't work, aren't completely operational, or cause MANY errors and problems... I ALWAYS have problems with logging into the LIVE pages too... Windows LIVE desktop mail doesnt let you sign in with your LIVE id... guess you need ONLY a hotmail account, LIVEOne Care... works good, but caused me to reinstall my Win XP operating system...LOL... Shall I continue.....

Even with this forum... even when I say ALERT ME.. I NEVER get any alerts that someone responded... I have to log in and check to see if anyone has posted a reply...LOL..
