In my startup menu i have one file who i dont understand what is for ?
file name is dumprep.exe please tell me abaut this file ?
I locate this file in tasck maniger and when i start run->msconfig in startup menu but this file dont exist in startup folder in istalacion of my Xp .
first of all scan this file with an online virus scanner... i.e. http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

I have today anuder quastions in on line microsoft suport (chat) there i ask for SPTD.SIS and XMASBUS.SIS quesion is:
i start my computer and when windows stat he load logo and can continue load program then i start again sistem in Save mod (onley) and skip this 2 files and evrey thing is like normal . I take resolv to delite this 2 files however i delite them and restat my sistem then windows start normaly whitout evrey problem.whay this files dameged my operating sistem and what fincion he have ?
I suppose you installed Alcohol and Daemon Tools...
SPTD.SYS is a driver installed by Daemon Tools
XMASBUS.SYS is a driver installed by Alcohol
If these don't work properly, or windows didn't uninstall correctly these drivers, or they are corrupted, or you have some malware in it... I suppose
for these questions, the best way is a serch engine like google, live search, altavista, yahoo...
